Roobet tennis scam.

I bet 400 dollars on basavareddy tonight. The bet was placed in play a set down. He goes on to take it to a decider then 30-0 up his opponent decides to retire. Roobet voided this bet which i think is absolutely ridiculous. 99% of sports books would pay me out here. They don't even want to listen. If I had bet on the other guy id hve fully expected to lost my money at this stage. Theres terms aren't that clear. He won and is through.  99% of the match was played. Can someone look at this for me?

I am not well versed in sports betting, but as far as I know, sportsbooks usually have a rule for when something happens during a match that could result in bets being voided/refunded. In your case, Basavareddy's opponent forfeiting the match could have caused all bets on that match to be refunded/voided.

edit: So, I looked into their sportsbook policy and found this rule about "Forfeits".

There is no scam here OP, it is basic tennis rule which would have applied on any other sportsbooks in the world, except in cases where there some kind of promo like the ones where if your "players goes 1 set up and end up losing the match your bet still settles as a win" or something of sorts, in this case of a live bet (in-play), in as much as a player retired, it doesn't matter when, the bet would be voided and the same case would have applied if your bet was losing, I can assure you.

[/quote]Your money would have still been refunded since the bet was voided so it doesn't matter. Just try to read the sportsbook rules next time. The good things is acroman08 has quoted part of the rules for you.

Your money would have still been refunded since the bet was voided so it doesn't matter. Just try to read the sportsbook rules next time. The good things is acroman08 has quoted part of the rules for you.
