Posting to get some honest input from people who've dealt with these situations.
Background: I'm in Ireland. I made a first deposit at RainBet, took the welcome bonus, and won €12,000 on slots. I completed full KYC, including Level 4 webcam selfie and Source of Wealth docs. After verifying, my account was locked. They reopened it, I re-verified, and it was locked again.
Their claim: RainBet says I breached Term 9.6 (welcome-bonus abuse). Their evidence:
A Sumsub flag for multiple devices and my profile showing up across many casinos
Wallet links to other casino accounts routed through an exchange
An IP match to another account ("HappyCat") that had already claimed the first-deposit promo and another person.Who didn't claim any bonus
My side: I only have one RainBet account. The shared-IP stuff is normal here most Irish ISPs use CGNAT, so lots of people share the same public IP. I switched devices during KYC because the site kept throwing errors. And yes, I've played at other casinos before that's not against the rules.
The dispute: I filed with a mediation service. The resolver pushed RainBet for actual proof of a linked second account or a genuine KYC failure, and said a matching IP alone isn't enough. RainBet then went silent. After a 7-day extension the case was closed Unresolved — insufficient evidence from casino, and they got 6,926 black points against their Safety Index. The resolver was clear this wasn't a ruling that I'm owed the money — the investigation just couldn't finish because the casino stopped replying. It can be reopened if they re-engage.
What I'm asking:
Has anyone actually recovered funds from RainBet after a close like this?
Does the Anjouan license (ALSI-152406029-FI2) give any real complaint route? They display a Curaçao license elsewhere, which seems off.
Is it worth pushing to reopen the mediation, or is that a dead end once a casino goes quiet?
Any other leverage I'm missing?
Appreciate any straight advice, including if you think I don't have a strong case.
